Wynn's 29879 Petrol Exhaust Gas Recirculation 200ml

Immediately realizes a thorough cleaning of the air intake system, the air mass meter, the inlet valves and the EGR system. Dissolves gum deposits, lacquer, tar and carbon deposits. Wynn's Petrol EGR 3 is an aerosol product that has been developed for cleaning the intake pipe of petrol engines. Especially recommended for modern petrol engines with direct injection, where the intake system is often (fast) contaminated.

Applications
Recommended to use at every service interval to clean the manifold, intake valves, airflow sensor and EGR system of gasoline engines.

Instructions

A . Cleaning the air intake manifold, air flow sensor and inlet valves

• Let the engine warm up. Remove air filter.
• Run the engine up to 2000 rpm.
• Pulse 200 ml of product into the manifold.
• RPM will drop during nebulization. Wait for the speed to rise again before continuing.
• If necessary, accelerate to prevent the engine from stalling.
• Let the engine idle for a few minutes and occasionally accelerate, but do not exceed 3000 rpm.
• Run the engine for at least 1 minute after the last acceleration.
• Stop the engine. Reinstall the filter.

B . Cleaning the EGR valve

• If the valve is close to the air filter housing, use method A.
• If the valve is further away, see if it is not possible to remove a hose close to the valve. Spray the product into this opening towards the EGR valve.
• If the valve is further away from this point and it is impossible to spray closer to the valve, use an extension tube (see photo).
• Then continue the treatment as stated in A.

C. Cleaning the EGR valve – easily accessible

• If the EGR valve housing is easily accessible and the EGR can be easily disassembled.
• Remove the EGR valve.
• Spray the product directly on the valve, housing and other parts until these parts are very wet.
• Let the product act for a few minutes.
• Spray back on the parts until all dirt is removed.
• It may help to use a piece of rag or tissue to remove the dirt.
• Dry the parts with compressed air, rag or tissue.
• It is not necessary to run the engine during this treatment.
• With this method only the valve is cleaned. The air hoses can only be cleaned as indicated under A and B.
