Power steering pump broken

When the steering pump of the car breaks down, you will immediately notice this in the steering wheel. This one will be much heavier. Do you notice that the car is steering heavier? Also check the V-belt, because it controls the drive for the pump. When the belt slips, this can be recognized by a squeaking noise under the hood. A slipping V-belt can lead to power steering failure. The steering pump cannot be driven properly if the V-belt no longer works properly. Therefore, make sure you check all parts for wear or damage.
