The OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is an LED warning light that must be carried in the vehicle and used in the event of a breakdown in Germany. This applies to all vehicles with a total weight of ≥ 3.5 tonnes according to §53a StVZO. In addition, OSRAM's TRUCK FLARE also meets the requirements specified in the technical requirements of the StVZO (TA 19). These state that the warning light must meet the following characteristics: An amber flashing light, a continuous operating time of at least 15 hours, a flashing frequency of 1.5 Hz ± 0.5 Hz ? 90 ± pulses per minute and a dynamic pressure of 21 kg/m² ? wind force 9. Only the lights that meet these requirements are officially approved for use in road traffic. The warning light must be in operation next to the warning triangle to indicate the danger zone in the event of a breakdown or accident. Use is not mandatory for vehicles ≥3.5 t, but is of course possible and recommended for the safety of all road users.

It warns other road users of a potentially dangerous situation on the road by actively flashing, as opposed to the simple reflection like that of a warning triangle. With 6 high-power LEDs with a long life of up to 6000K, you can draw attention to you during the day and at night and prevent other road users from a dangerous situation, such as a broken down vehicle on the road. In addition, the TRUCK FLARE can also serve as a flashlight. As an additional feature, a bright white flashlight is integrated which enables additional applications, such as a work or inspection lamp.

Thanks to its compact design, you can store the warning lamp within easy reach in the vehicle and, if necessary, quickly and easily set it up right next to the warning triangle thanks to the fold-out, robust non-slip feet. Another advantage is that the included batteries mean that the OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is immediately ready for use. The LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 has been tested and validated in our DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 certified environmental simulation laboratory for extreme external influences in terms of water, dust, heat, cold and impact. With a protection class of IP54, the OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is resistant to water and dust.
