An unparalleled preamplifier
The MAX A2 power amplifiers are equipped with 2DP, a state-of-the-art preamplifier with double differential circuit. This gives you a sound that is virtually immune to incoming interference. 2DP also keeps unwanted noise to a minimum, without compromising what is perhaps most important - power.

In the unlikely event that something happens - such as incorrect wiring, over- and under-voltage, impedance mismatch, overheating and direct current on the outputs - the A2 power amplifiers play it safe thanks to a reliable protection system.

The MAX A2-800.1D has a sturdy double-sided circuit board with an oversized capacitor bank. A good balance between high efficiency, sound quality and power.

You have great control over how the sound is split with the 24dB split filter. This is the same technology used in the extremely well-playing output stages of the GAS Competition! It's really all about control, where you can adjust the low pass and subsonic to ensure that the output stage is optimally matched to the specifications of the bass box or pickup.
