    Motor oil Eurol HDX 40 E2 5L

    Eurol HDX 40 has been specially developed for light to heavily loaded petrol engines, diesel engines with and without turbo and stationary engines. This oil is also suitable for diesel engines that run on a higher sulfur content (up to 0.5%). Eurol HDX 40 has a strong cleaning and protective capacity. This prevents carbon deposits and deposits on the pistons, on the valves and in the combustion chambers. Eurol HDX 40 offers good protection against wear, corrosion, sludge and foaming, while it remains stable even at high temperatures and prevents oil thickening. Eurol HDX 30, 40 and 50 also comply with API CF-2, which is prescribed for 2-stroke diesel engines, especially those from Detroit Diesel.

    Eurol HDX 40 is mainly used in diesel engines where a monograde motor oil is prescribed with the specifications below, in various sectors such as in (agricultural) construction, shipping and fishing. Eurol HDX 40 can, if a motor oil with this viscosity grade is recommended, also be used as transmission oil or as hydraulic oil.
