Low viscosity brake fluid for hydraulic drum and disc brake systems.
Eurol® Brake Fluid DOT 4 LV is recommended in ABS, ESP and ASR braking systems. Especially the low viscosity compared to the classic DOT 4 brake fluids comes into its own in these systems.
Eurol® Brake Fluid DOT 4 LV is particularly suitable and also prescribed in new braking systems (such as in Opel Vectra C, VW Passat B6, and other modern cars after 2004). These new brake systems are characterized by, among other things, thin brake lines (more pliable, less material) and these brake systems require a brake fluid with a lower viscosity at low temperatures to ensure fast, timely operation.
Eurol® DOT 4 LV has a high wet boiling point, which considerably reduces the risk of vapor formation in the braking system. This is important when using asbestos-free brake linings, as well as during frequent braking (eg in the mountains and/or with a trailer) and the associated increased heat generation.
Eurol® DOT 4 LV is miscible with other synthetic brake fluids that meet the standards of FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 and can be used in systems where these specifications are prescribed.
Eurol® DOT 4 LV is not aggressive towards sleeves, brake hoses or sealing rings.
