What size spigot rings do I need?

To find out which spigot rings are suitable for your car, you need a tape measure or calliper gauge. You will have to measure the ‘hole’ of the wheels and the hub diameter. Do you use a tape measure? Then we recommend that you start measuring at 10 centimetres so that you measure more accurately. After you measured the hole in the wheel, you will need to measure the hub diameter.

Now, a simple calculation follows. The difference between the two sizes you just measured, must be filled by spigot rings. An example: is the wheel hole 60.1 mm (outer diameter) and the hub diameter 54.1 mm (inner diameter)? Then the space between these two must be filled. However, it is very important that you measure accurately. Take your time and repeat the measurement a number of times. Fitting spigot rings

Now that you have found the suitable spigot rings, all you have to do is mount them on your rims. Fortunately, fitting hub centric rings is a job that you can certainly do yourself. First of all, make sure you clean the rims well. You can do this with a good wheel cleaner. If you do not clean the surfaces with a good wheel cleaner, there is a chance that the spigot rings will no longer fit perfectly. Then place the hub centric ring at the rear in the rim. Often you can easily insert it or click it in. Now you can easily mount the rim on the wheel again.

Spigot rings, also called hub centric rings, ensure that the rims can be mounted properly and securely under the car. Centering rings are often made of plastic and have the task to fill up the space between the wheel rim and the hub of the car.
