GAS MAX A2-150.4 is a four-channel output stage with a power of 2x150W RMS in 4 Ohm and is specially designed for enthusiasts! An unparalleled preamplifier
MAX A2 output stages are equipped with 2DP, a state-of-the-art preamplifier with dual differential circuitry. This creates a sound that is virtually immune to incoming interference. 2DP also keeps unwanted noise to a minimum, without compromising what is perhaps most important - power.

In the unlikely event that something does happen - such as incorrect wiring, over- and undervoltage, impedance mismatch, overheating and direct current on the outputs - the A2 connections play it safe thanks to a reliable protection system.

Made to sound the best it can
To ensure that the MAX A2-150.4 sounds as good as possible, GAS has worked intensively on technical solutions to keep the stage as efficient as possible without sacrificing sound quality. That is why this AB output stage is equipped with a push-pull construction to make the stage as efficient as possible. At the same time, the stage has something called AAB (Active Auto Bias), a feature that determines the quiescent current to the transistors and both creates "warmth" in the sound character and optimizes the power output from the output stage. It may sound complicated, but it means that GAS has researched and improved every little detail.

Adjust the sound to your needs
In a two- and four-channel stage, control over how the sound is distributed is important. Whether it's driving treble, mid-bass or perhaps bridged to drive two bass elements. Every little attitude can make a difference. GAS has therefore implemented high-quality split filters with bandpass function - this means that you can split both up and down at the same time, making the MAX A2-150.4 ideal for midbass/midrange, among other things! Here you will also find a "Fullrange" mode designed for the best possible sound quality. This is specially designed for use with a sound processor or when you want to bypass the stage's built-in filter. Awesome!
